Re: Week 4 Run 1

I'm doing my W4R1 today as well! A tad bit nervous, but I can do a steady 3 minutes now without labor so I'm hoping it will go ok. Will let you guys know how it goes this evening.

Re: Weight loss

I am on week 4 and I have lost 1 pound. From the reading I've done (and I have dropped 27 pounds on my own recently before starting the app)....weight loss is 80% eating and 20% exercise. I know your schedule sounds crazy. Mine is too. I'm a teacher and having time to eat is not always available. Bu...

Re: Did my first run - feel like I'm going to die!!!

I am on week 4 of this app. I nearly quit the first run on Week 1. My legs were screaming in pain. I am not athletic by any means. I am 5'8", 240 pounds, 35 years old. I am now running 3 minutes without stopping! I start 5 minutes tomorrow. It gets easier in that you WILL be able to go further,...

Re: Week 4 Run 1

I just finished week 3 today. My 3 minute runs went pretty good! My breathing was fine and I had some serious calf burn. I'm highly motivated right now. I hope I have a good experience on Wednesday with the 5 minute runs. I'll be tuning in to you guys to see how you progress!!

I ran for 3 minutes! Yay!!!

Ok I know some of you have posted about this already, but I had to get my post up too! I was soooooo worried about starting week 3. My W2R3 was excruciating!! My shins hurt and calves burned. I decided to give week 3 a go! I found it so much easier than week 1 and 2! The time went by super fast. It ...

Finished Week 2....3 minutes running? IDK.

I finished W2R3 today. My legs were burning!!!!! I also had some shin pain. I'm supposed to start Week 3 on Wednesday. I'm really nervous about this next run. I can't imagine doubling the time with the way my legs felt today. Did everyone else feel the same way?

Re: What are your running habits?

My running routine (wow sounds crazy just saying that :D ) is right after work. I'm so not a morning person and once I get home and relax, forget it. I go right after work. I'm a teacher so it's nice that by 4:30 I can be heading to the high school track where I do my running. I don't have a gym mem...

Re: Starting off

Hi there! I'm new myself. I'm 240 pounds...5'7"...not athletic at all. I am on week 2 run 2. I was the same way week 1. I didn't think I could add just 30 seconds more, but I did it! Stick with it! You can do it! From what I read from people who followed the program, it works and they all began...
