Re: W8R2 tougher than I thought

Your so right Mahnster! It is a wonderful sense of accomplishment to do that. It is a great thing for those of us who have started this program to look back on the short period of time we have been doing it and see where we have come from. Such a simple program has touched so many lives!

W8R2 tougher than I thought

Completed 2nd run of week8 and I found it tougher than I had before. Not sure why, but I really had to slow my pace down, almost to a quick walk. I made up for it by running a faster than normal pace the last 3 minutes. I guess I had one of thee running days when it isn't the best. But hey, we can s...

W8R1 completed

I was surprised at how the extra 3 minutes made me work for it. I think that it was because I was psychologically prepared to end at 25 mins. I made it through, a bit slower pace than normal, but still completed the full 28 mins running. I will try not to allow my brain to play tricks on me,because ...

Week 7 done, I can't believe only 2 weeks left!

Completed W7R3! Wow, 3 runs of 25 min with no breaks and still alive to write and talk about it! I remember looking at the later weeks thinking Inwould never make, and now I am getting sad to see it coming to an end. But it isn't ending, it's just another chance to find new places and people to run ...

Week7Run 2 done!

Well almost through with week 7, looking forward to week 8. Keeping my pace at what I did early on. Did slow down a bit today when it was time to turn around and then increased my speed to be just a bit faster than normal. I am not sure if it is helpful or not, but it was fun, so I may try it again ...

Re: Week 2

It does get easier Sally! I am going to complete W6R3 tomorrow for 25 min straight and I am looking forward to it. Give yourself as much opportunity to succeed as you can. Keep a slow pace, or slow it down even more if you have to. Run only on straight roadways, or a track or treadmill. You can worr...
