Re: Week 4

I must confess I have itchy feet. I want to do the 20 minute run this week. I am one of those people that gets impatient easily. I realised this week that I can do the longer runs. I even want to run everyday. ;)

Running more than 3 times a week.

I would like to know why you recommend running 3 times a week. I have itch feet every day and want to run more than that. I even like running in the rain. Go figure. :?:

Re: What song gives you that crazy energy?

I have 2 songs that get me going. Outlands by daft punk from the movie Tron legacy and the great 80's classic the final countdown by Europe. Outlands gets me into the zone but final countdown makes me run harder.

Running Newbie

I started last week on Monday 13th May. It was a challenge to do, but found it energising. This week is slightly harder, due to tiredness but it is a good tiredness. I have one more to go this week. I do feel stronger in my body than I did when I started . My mother has noticed a change as well. ;)

Re: Where in the world are you, and where do you run?

Hi I'm Sarah. I am from Christchurch, New Zealand, aka quake city. It is interesting how to avoid potholes and road works. Though you do get the road work boys waving at you. Which keeps you going. I am in week 2 run 2. Actually loving it so far. Excited to be doing something that will be good for m...

Re: Sticky: Introductions!

Hi my name is Sarah. I started yesterday NZ time. I thought that it would be a little challenging, which it was, but I found that it gave me a great buzz afterwards. I hope to get it done in the next 9 weeks. I have two awesome goals I want to do this year, a 21 day camp with Outward bound in anakiw...
