Re: Changing running day

Yes. Simply go out on the nights you can manage and the app will adjust itself :)

I couldnt imagine running 5k when I started week one, but having finished the programme a month ago I am now running 8-9k a time!

Best of luck!

Re: Running away from home!

I've done quite a few runs while I've been away over the last few months. When I've been in this country I've typically just gone out on the road and run an "out and back" type run (i.e. run until you reach the half way point of the programme and then turn around and run back). When I was ...

Re: Week 3 :-(

Sounds like you're still going a little too fast in that case.... FWIW the end of week 3 is when I really started to notice that my breathing got easier so do try to push through.

Re: Week 3 :-(

Firstly, don't give up.

Secondly, how far are you getting through the 3 minute run? What is making you have to stop? Pain? Too out of breath? Something else?

Re: What should we do next?!

Please please please make a 10K app to save everyone for the nasty looking and even worse sounding b210k one :( No where near as motivating as GetRunning

Re: Roll of honour 

I completed the programme this morning - 20th July - and it has been the best thing I've done in a long long time. It's amazing that the programme pushes you just fa enough at each stage to stretch you, but it's always possible!

Bye Bye Get Running

So the day came today for me to say good bye to GetRunning at C25K. It's been a great 9 weeks, and I wouldn't have believed I would get so far in such a short time. I started the programme on April 27th, and completed it today June 20th. At the start, I could barely run for a minute and getting to t...

Re: I completed my first 5k!!!

Well done!!! Congratulations for getting out there and giving a go, and succeeding! ParkRun is a great organisation, I definitely encourage everyone to get out and do one as their first 5K organised run.

Re: Week 5, or week 4 again??

Go for it! Week 5 is mainly about getting your head right it really is. Take each run even slower than you think and you'll get through it, and there's nothing to lose - if you don't get through week 5 then repeat week 5, but there's no reason not to try. Best of luck!
