Week 5 Completed :)

I did it, managed to not stop, even if I was going quite slow. Just pacing is the key, as I keep saying :) Only problem was lower leg pain, kinda like shin splints but all around my leg, and It's weird because sometimes I get them and sometimes not... Just a shame because as a Student I can't afford...

8 minutes, 5 minutes, 8 minutes - run 2, week 5 done!

So guys, I did this run this morning, and feel quite good after it :) Although they might not be pleasant all the time throughout the run, afterwards, I always feel good and accomplished :) I ended the 2nd 8 minutes and as soon as I started the cooldown got a massive stitch, but it went away quite q...

Week 5 begins!

Just ran the first of week 5, and it wasn't all that bad. Got a bit wheezy at points, and finished with a major stitch, but i kept running. I suppose pace is the key, as I was running late and wanted to finish before 12:00 :P I know that running faster etc wouldn't change how long it actually was, b...

Week 4 completed

Finished week 4 last night, and it felt like quite a brutal run to be honest. I did get some cramp in my legs, but I only had 2 1/2 hours sleep the night before, and hadn't eaten much on sunday, so I guess it was to be expected!

Very nervous about Week 5 run 3!

Re: Week 3 run 1 done!

Good luck :) when I did week three I found it tough for the first two runs. The key was pacing yourself. If you do that properly, you'll surprise yourself in week 4! :)

week 4, run 1 done :)

Did the run today, paced myself because I thought it'd be a real struggle, and actually, when I properly paced myself, I managed to do it no sweat (not literally no sweat  ) but yeah, it was surprisingly achievable, and I felt great afterwards!

week 3 done

Well, the run in Wales was tough again, but my last jog last night went well. I paced myself and was able to do it, even if it wasn't particularly quickly!

Bring on week 4!

Re: Week 3, Run 1 finished

Didn't choose the beach in the end, had a run along a road that just went up and down - was still tough, rain didn't help

Final run of week 3 later on tonight, I hope it doesn't kill me! Got my dutch Speaking exam tomorrow :P

Re: Week 4 yay!!

how'd you find week 3? I've done 2 out of the 3 runs for it, and they seem pretty tough which is a shame. The longer runs are getting me, and then from here onwards they seem to just get longer and longer!
