Re: Week 4

Just finished run 2 of week 4 and all is going well , still no probs with my knees so I'm hoping I've put that injury behind me now , being pain free means for the 1st time I can actually start pushing myself . I chose a more hilly route today which was quite tough but very rewarding at the end of i...

Week 4

Just completed 1st run of week 4 , and pleased to say I breezed through it , really chuffed considering the pain my knees were in just over a week ago . This was the best run I've had since starting the programme , slight leg stiffness but nothing to bother me , the 5 min runs didn't even seem that ...

Re: Week 3

Just re-ran week 3 run 3 again to test out the knees . Although I could just start to feel the right knee a bit it never got any worse , the run itself went well apart from a bit of stitch on last run but that was my fault really as I'd eaten to soon before I went for the run so that doesn't bother ...

Re: Week 3

Injury update , the injury to both knees is a grade 1 medial ligament injury apparently 1 to 2 weeks recovery although my knees seem to be getting better by the day , so with that I'm delaying start of week 4 until a week tomorrow (sat) but I'm hoping to be fit by next weds where I will test my inju...

Re: Week 3

Week 3 completed but was in absolute agony today runs themselves were no problem but my knees weren't recovered enough for today but I wanted to get week 3 out the way . Sitting here now with ice packs on both knees and unless there is significant improvement during my 2 days off I may have to delay...
