Re: I ran for 3 minutes!

I'm still repeating Week 3. I've managed it three times, all according to instructions, amazingly, but I want to run Week 3 runs a few more times until I feel ready to move on. Week 4 looks scary!

Re: Trying to get started

Well done indeed! I couldn't complete a single one minute run when I first started, but I've now done two 3 minute runs on two occasions. It really does get easier.

Re: I ran for 3 minutes!

I did it again today! Well done on your final four minute run. I certainly couldn't manage that, but I'm clearly improving. Keep up the good work.

I ran for 3 minutes!

Did Run1 of Week 3 today. Having taken six attempts to complete a full Week 1 run, plus anther six to achieve a full Week 2 run, this was my first attempt at Week 3. I did it all as per instructions! I'm amazed. And very proud of myself. I started this lark just after Christmas, after 57 years of sl...

Re: Week 1 Run 1 Done!

It's amazing how the running minutes last longer than the walking ones, isn't it? You'll find you can do it though. I didn't move on to Week2 until I had done three consecutive complete Week1 runs. So I did 8 Week1 runs in all. I've now done 8 Week2 runs and have just done my third complete one of t...

Re: New at running, breathing tips needed

I repeated Week 1 three times, until I could actually sustain eight one minute runs on three occasions. I'm now into my second go at Week 2 and so far the best I've managed is five minute and a half runs. So some way to go before I achieve a perfect Week 2 and move on! My breathing is improving, but...

Re: Being unwell

Thanks for your concern, Starknut. I left off running for a complete week, and when my cold had pretty much passed I did another run. Pleasantly surprised that I managed my Week 2 run almost exactly the same as pre cold. Not quite fully according to instructions but pretty good. Since then I missed ...
