Re: Another first timer thanks to Charlie Brooker

Way to go, guys! I ran Week 4, Run 2, this morning, and I gotta say that all this running would be SO much harder without Get Running (Actually, I probably wouldn't have started at all)! So keep it up!

Re: Jan 1 / Week 1 / Run 1

Haha! This is so true! I just started week 4 tonight, and I think it's hilarious when I get nervous about longer distances, yet accomplish them with ease. Last week, I worried I wouldn't be able to run 3 minutes, but they were completely do-able! And this earlier today, I was scared of running 5 min...

Re: Starting Week 2 tomorrow

I'm doing week 2 run 3 tomorrow, and I had the exact same nervousness when I started on Monday. I found it so much easier than last week, because my legs had more time to get into a good rhythm. I'm sure it will be the same for you, too! Don't worry about it, instead, be excited and grasp it with fu...

Re: Running Pace & Distance

Hey!
Ausgirl, I know you'll DEFINITELY get to 5k in 30 min. :D Your motivation is so inspirational!

I also have a question. As for charting my distance, will my iPod work with Runkeeper, as it doesn't have GPS or anything? I greatly appreciate everyone's advice! Thanks!

Re: First run completed!

That's awesome, both of you! I'm on Week 2 of the Program, but because of all the Christmas and New Year's festivities, I haven't been watching my eating at all. I guess today would be a perfect day to start... :D

Re: Sticky: Introductions!

Hello, all! I'm Joel, 5'11'', 17 years old, and about 40lbs overweight. I really like running, but have never got myself to actually keep a routine of more than a week. After downloading this app, I told myself that I would join this forum if I could make it to week 2... And I did! So, here I am, an...
