Re: First failed run! W7R3

Don't you just love the British climate, last week freezing and splashing through puddles, this week baking hot. It's not surprising you struggled a bit, we're just not used to running in heat. I think you've nailed the answer though, stay hydrated and don't give up.

Finished!

I can believe it, I ran week 9 run 3 today! It felt amazing to finally complete the program. Although I was a little disappointed that the program just ended, no congratulations, no messages, no on screen fireworks, jubilant crowds , just ' you can stop running now' - a three month relationship and ...

Re: ok peeps, how do you manage yr runs when on holiday?

I ran on holidays when I was last into running around 15 years ago and loved it, the change of scenery and seeing things I wouldn't have seen otherwise was great. However, that was Portugal and having been to cuba I would not feel safe running outside of the hotel, especially knowing how prized big ...

Re: Week 9 - almost finished!

Thanks, as for what happens next, I'm not sure, as I'm still very slow, I think I'll run 30 minutes for a few weeks, then I might restart the program to see if I can increase my pace. Does anyone else have an opinion on what is best? That being said, I know the route of the local5k so I think I'll r...

Re: Week 9 - almost finished!

Completed wk9 run2, only one run left. This is incredible, I never expected to complete it when I started this, much less be enjoying it and looking forward to my runs! I can't wait to do my final run on Monday and 'graduate'.

Week 9 - almost finished!

I can hardly believe it, I completed run1 of week 9 yesterday, so I've nearly completed the program. I never thought I'd be running for 30 minutes solid when I started this. If I've one piece if wisdom to pass on, it's that the first five minutes of a run are the worse, once your over that and you'v...

Almost finished but slow!

I'm due to finish the program this week, but I'm so SLOW! Any suggestions about how to increase speed? Should I continue running for 30 mins to increase strength and stamina, or restart the program, Or is there another option? Any advice is appreciated
