Re: Ran my first 5k today!

Woot woot! Good for you! I can't wait to get to the point. I just finished week 2 today, went great. Ready for week 3, for sure. I am finding it hard waiting for the next run. But I know I need to just follow the program slowly. I am just impatient!

Re: Arggghhhh

Digbycat - yesterday I fell on my treadmill and scraped my knee, twisted my wrist. Thank god I just happened to have a hold of the handrails when it happened. The lesson I learned from this is, no matter how good the song is that you are listening to....never close your eyes on the treadmill! I hope...

Re: And so it begins

Hi flyboy. I don't think I could run without tunes. The voices in my mind would talk me out of it! I shuffle my favorite playlist so I don't know what song is coming next. I had a great run yesterday, wk2r2. I felt so good, almost high, most of the day. I am really enjoying this and I look forward t...

Re: Just started!

I like getting my workouts in first thing in the morning. My energy is higher and I feel better throughout the day and not stressing whether or not I am going to find the time. Btw, I am up at 0330 every morning and usually working out by 0430!

Re: And so it begins

Just finished W1R2, a day late due to traveling. But actually this will adjust to my schedule better. The run went well and so far I am really enjoying it. I keep thinking, if I keep this up I could be a runner by Thanksgiving! I don't have to be a good runner, just a slow jogger is good enough for ...

Re: And so it begins

Marie- thank you. Hopefully the losing weight and learning to run will compliment each other. Whenever I start a new activity the second day always seems to be worse for soreness. I hope after today your sore muscles will ease up. Just keep thinking, you are building muscle and burning fat. Kudos to...

Re: And so it begins

Hi! I just finished my W1R1. I really like this app! I found it mentioned on a Weight Watcher forum and thought I would give it a try. I have tried others but never made it passed week 3. I want to run, but have some kind of mental wall that always makes me give up...I just have to keep going so any...
