Re: W5

I am supposed to start w5 today but it is absolutely torrential downpours here. I have never seen rain like it and the forecast for the rest of the day is pretty much the same. May have to delay until tomorrow unless there is a break in it. Never thought I would be disappointed not to run!! I can al...

Re: Week 4 Wall

Cheers sunshine. I am determined to finish this programme even I do have to repeat some runs. W4r2 finished today but I am not sure I can use the term running for the last 3 mins. My legs just felt like lead weights and I was more or less just shuffling by this point. I must have looked a right sigh...

Re: Week 4 Wall

I've just ran w4r1 a few days behind schedule as the weather has been awful. I don't mind running in showers but draw the line at total downpours. So much for summer! This was the first run I have really struggled with and not sure if it was down to the few days break or the fact that the running ti...

Re: First time running after 10st + weight loss

Hi becca. I did w2r1 last night so more or less at same stage as you. Night off tonight but looking forward to w2r2 tomorrow. Weirdly I found w2r1 bit easier than w1 but not going to get too confident just yet!! I am still wondering if this app will make a runner of me but have to say the comments o...

Re: About to turn 47 yes old - just ran w1r1

Yes u can do it!! I was a bit nervous about starting this programme as well but have just finished w1r2 comfortably albeit not brilliantly fast and I'm determined to finish all 9 weeks even if I have to repeat some weeks. Reading some of the other posts it's ok to to do this if you're not ready to m...

Re: Motivational List

I'm doing this to get fitter and to try and shift my last 7lbs of baby weight (one year on) which no amount of dieting alone seems to budge it! And also so I can have a half hour time on my own 3 times a week....

Re: About to turn 47 yes old - just ran w1r1

I've also just finished w1r1 and the first 4 runs were not too bad but did I feel it the second 4 runs! Guess I need to learn how to pace as think I was trying to run too fast?! Pls tell me it gets easier cos at this point 9 weeks seems like a long way off! Still I am determined to stick to it cos t...
