Week 4 run2 worried

I had to skip my run yesterday because of high winds and smoke from fires so I ran today. I found this to be the hardest run yet. I'm not sure if it's due to not running yesterday, the heat (80's) or what. I'm worried about giving up. Had that thought for the first time yesterday. My knees are still...

Re: Week 4 Wall

I just completed W4r1 last night. It was tougher than week 3 for sure. It also didn't help that I started running down a small hill and had to run up during my last 5 minutes! I don't run fast and I probably look more like I'm shuffling than running but I don't care! My knees hurt after the run last...

Re: Week 3, Run 1

Good job to you both! I've just started week 4. I was a little nervous about it but I got through the entire session. Its a bit harder than week 3 but not too much. Keep running!!

Hi Linda, I've wondered about joint pain myself. My knees and ankles pain me sometimes and I've never had pain in them before. I'm from the US and Costco has a joint pain reliever my brother swears by. I'm going today to find some and I'll let you know the name and if it works. Take care of that bac...

Re: Week 1 second run....another newbie.

Welcome! The forum is great! I wish I lived close to anyone on here! I'm not a runner and I'm not young either (49) but I feel great after 4 weeks on the program. I've not missed a run yet and I look forward to reading about everyone's progress. Keep it up! Completing the runs make me feel like I've...

Began week 4 last night

I just began week 4 last night, it was a little hard! I've been thinking the short runs were 1 1/2 minutes long and now the shorties are 3! I made it through although I had aches in my knees afterwards. Keep going everyone!

Finished week 3

I'm still dripping from my last week 3 run. Had a little trouble with my knees today. I just kept going and they seemed rested enough after walking to run the 3 minute runs. This was my hardest day so far. It's hot here and I waited until after 8 pm to run. Should have gone early this morning! Keep ...

W3R3 feels great!

I've just finished week 3 run 2. I got messed up on my audio and had to restart so instead of walking another 5 minutes I jogged a little in between. I live this app. Every day I feel stronger and more confident. Keep it going everyone!
