Definitely redo week 5. It's such an achievement to run the 20 minutes at the end. It certainly gave me the boost to continue through to week 6. You know if it was a hangover that made it a bad run so redo it without the hangover, you'll be so pleased you did! Take the run slowly. My "running&q...
Thanks guys I am really pleased with myself and yes, Benjohn, I think parkrun is an excellent way to finish the programme because its non intimidating, every Saturday and best of all it's free!

Hi I also started with 42lbs to lose but now about 34lbs :D Without reducing your calorie intake you wont see a huge difference in the scales for a while. What I am really noticing is the tone in my legs. They feel firmer and look better for having a bit of shape. The weight loss is also getting eas...
Well done scouser. :) I am about to start week 8 tomorrow and personally I think going from an 8 minute rum to 20 minutes in week 5 is the toughest. I really think they put that in there so we could see how possible running for 30 minutes is. I love the way I feel after a run :D :D :D http://www.42l...

Congrats! It's a real achivement. I am now due for my run 3 week 7 and still feel that the 20 minute run was the biggest achievement of the programme. I think if we can go from 8 minutes to 20 then the rest is easy(er) :D Running 25 minutes is hard but I feel damn good every time I finish it! http:/...
well done you!!! I am about to do my week 7 run 1 having done my first 25 minute run at the end of week 6. It feels really great to have achieved so much in just a few weeks. Keep it up, you'll be surprised and very pleased with what you can do! http://www.42lbstolose.blogspot.com
