In my experience week 4 was definitely the toughest week. The 3 min runs i found easy but I really struggled with the 5 min runs especially the second one. Id say that brand and cost are largely irrelevant. Just get a gait analysis done in a store that knows what they are doing (i.e not JJB Sports or sportsworld) and follow their advice.

Welcome, keep at it, take it nice and slow and i assure tou that within a week you will look forward to your next run. You will be shocked how fast the improvement comes :)

Haha i count down the time in the exact same way!! Im constantly working out how much longer to go!! Today was my W7R1 (1 x 25 mins) which is the second solid 25 run of the programme. Yeah you do dont you!! I get annoyed sometimes on non running days haha.

I also found that from week 4 i got the most intense post-run buzz thats lasts all day. I love it :))

I love it when new people start, its so exciting.

Update this thread after each run so we all know how your getting on and can support you. You can then also look back and laugh remembering how you used to struggle, it never ceases to amaze me how fast i have improved following this app :)

If you put on a bit of weight thats normal. Your building new muscle which is heavier than fat. When you gets sore legs thats tiny tears in your muscles fibres. This is called delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Your bodies thinks "eek that was so much work it damaged me trying to do the task...
