Re: I've always admired runners; Now I'm going to be one?

I always make sure I have a wee just before running. I drink about half hour before running so I'm not too sloshy :)

I just did W3R2 yesterday.

Still loving it.

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

Well that was harder. I managed the runs but the second 3 min run did feel like a trial. I went to bed last night at 7pm and slept Til 7am because I have sinusitis. Feel like crap. Rest days now until Monday. Hope you're feeling better than me Caz!

Re: My diary of couch to 5K

Go you! Isnt this programme brilliant. I feel better already after such a short time (6 runs). I'm glad you have someone to run with too. I think Isolde that one day but right now I'm enjoying the solitude (busy family) and being absorbed in the music and queues from the app. You'll be able to give ...

Best time of day to run?

Hello all :) I've been running (just started week 3) in the morning after the school run so about 9.30 am. My thinking was that in the morning ill surely have more energy because ill have had a nights sleep and not yet run the gaultlet of the day plus kids etc... I know some of you run in the evenin...

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

I'm a very happy bunny! I skipped W2R3 and did the first week 3 run instead. I did do an extra run on my last run and really didnt struggle so I felt like a probably could so it and also you had smashed it too and that spurred me on a bit. It was ok. Not easy but not a ball buster either. Id done so...

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

Hey hun! No I haven't overtaken you at all. I did W2R2 today. It was ok. I was tired at first but once I got into it I felt better. It was tiring but when I looked at run keeper afterwards I'd been faster so that's maybe why. I walked faster I think. My jog is a slow one lol. Glad you had fun! Life ...

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

Maybe I'm just feeling better because I'm so glad I'm doing it and accomplishing something physical that I never thought I could which is making me feel better. I don't know. Probably just excitement in my case. I don't blame you for missing that run. If you had got up you'd have felt terrible and p...

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

Well that was W2R1 done. I don't like saying this because ill probably have a massive crisis soon and really struggle but this morning wasnt desperately hard. I really do see what you mean about keeping on running being easier in some ways. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to do much more than I ...

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

You're a better woman than me! I'm not sure i could get shifted at that time of day. Even in great weather. I'm in Kent so the weather is getting nippy but not horrendous. Yes, that extra 30 seconds is scary but you're right, last week I didn't think if manage this first week. Who knows :) And yes h...
