Defect with iOS7.0.x?

I'm not sure if I've started doing something weird or found a problem. Problem: GetRunning App never prompts to start running (appears to have stopped running). Environment: iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.2 Running Apps: Dataman Version 8.0, RunKeeper V4.0.1, (runkeeper starts playlist music), GetRunning 1.10.0 P...

Re: Wk 7 done

Week 7 done,... I really feel that I am at my limit. Ok, so you were at your limit today? You did week 7 so you either were right at your limit or more likely you just think you were at your limit. The whole point of the program is to slowly raise your confidence, and slowly raise your ability. Don...

Re: Trying to understand W5R2 heart rate results

Thanks for your datum - confirms what I'm finding that most people do 5K and even some do 10K in upper zones. I found a great post which included a link to a spreadsheet that can be downloaded. Enter MaxHR, RestingHR and it graphically shows target heart rates to run everything from warmups to marat...

W5R3 (20m run) Report

Like everyone before me, I can confirm the program works. I completed my W5R3 today feeling pretty good. I kept running for 2 minutes longer so I ended up going about 2.9 km in 22 minutes at an average pace of 7:34 with my heart rate at a steady 172 to 174 bpm (92% of measured 188 MaxHR, 89% of HRRe...

Trying to understand W5R2 heart rate results

I finished W5R2 today - two 8 minute runs with three minutes walking between. During the first 8 minute run my heart rate was very steady at 171-173 beats per minute and during the second run my heart rate was also very steady at 172 to 174. My pace slowed from 5 minutes per kilometer at the start o...

Re: Help!!

While treadmill means air conditioning it prevents you from letting your body tell you how fast it can go. I tried the program on treadmill (at 4.5 mph) and failed. Outdoors I'm running slower than I can walk but I'm having more success because my body is telling me exactly how fast it can go at eac...

Re: Week 4 Run 1 - I did it

just completed W4R2 and it was tough but I did it I just completed W4R1 and can agree completely with "it was tough but I did it." but your credibility is in question for: and really enjoyed it. ;) ;) About It's great to really notice yourself getting fitter and better. , what are you not...

Re: W4R2 harder than W4R2 :-(

So? How did W4R3 go?

(I just did W4R1 but not strong, just barely. I could have walked faster than I ran the last 5 minute run..)

So did you live to run another day?
