Re: Disappointed as thought this app had music built in!

Hi Sasha, I know I've already replied to your support email, but I figured I should answer here too, just in case anyone else comes to the forum with the same question :) It's a pretty frequent question! Get Running on Android (and iPhone) is designed to work with the existing music player or other ...

Re: New runner

Sweet! I did a Santa race a couple of years back, and it was good fun. (Though it was harder than I expected to find a cheap santa costume to fit a chubby guy!) Glad to see you getting back into running :D

Re: Where to buy good running shoes?

I think many people can get away with average trainers because by definition, most people have average feet :) However, I think it's worth being checked out by a reputable running shoe shop, in case they can spot any problems. I was getting an aching hip quite regularly back when I started running. ...

Yup, that was spam. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have several different spam defences in place for the forums, but occasionally a couple of odd ones slip through. (This shoe salesman seems quite persistent...) If you see any posts like these -- which seem strangely unrelated to running, or are ju...

Re: What Heart-rate are you seeing?

It really depends on you, and what kind of speed you're doing. My heart rate rarely goes over 150 (even when jogging up a steep hill ), but then I'm a slow runner with a slow resting heart rate for my size (and I'm ten years older than you...) If you have any doubts at all, you should see your docto...

Re: Which are the best Headphones for Running?

Fab, thanks for the update! It's good to see a few more contenders coming onto the scene with proper remote/volume controls; when I was looking there were hardly any non-Apple headphones with that feature. The iSport phones look really good. Especially on a day like today, when I want to go and run ...

Re: Add Tapatalk support to the Forums

Please can you add support for Tapatalk to the Get Running forums. It would make tracking my posts much easier. It works for most of the other forums I frequent and it would be nice to easily access the forums from my iPhone and iPad. Hi. This is now done, and you should be able to find this forum ...

Re: Which are the best Headphones for Running?

My requirements for headphones sound pretty similar to yours, and I've ended up settling on the Sennheiser MM70. Good build quality, great sound, remote including volume, and (good quality) mic. Also, if anything goes wrong with them, Sennheiser honour their guarantees pretty well, in my experience....

Re: W7 r1 fail :(

Hi Chrissy, Running really has its ups and downs. I do half-marathons these days. Mostly I get out the door and run just fine, but I still have off-days where nothing seems to work properly and I feel slow as treacle and want to stop the whole time. It can be all sorts of things -- what food you've ...
