Re: Rest days...(and Hi from a newbie!)

I think you should just listen to your body, your obviously fairly fit so you'll recover quite quickly in the earlier runs, so go for it, however, as the program continues and the runs get longer you'd probably be wise to start using the rest days.

Re: Just started last week and loving it

Well done on getting started, I finished the program last week and can vouch for the results, yesterday I ran for 32 minutes in warm sunshine, 3 months ago I couldn't have run for 2 minutes. A small word of caution though, don't rely on the running for weight loss, the general consensus around here ...

Re: 5K 2 days in a row!

That's great, well done! I finished the program last week, but I don't think I'm up to a 5k pace just yet, I intend to run the route of the local 5k race later today so I'll see how that goes, although in pretty slow at the moment so I'm not expecting much.

What are you listening to?

Re: Landmarks!

I find that interesting because I find the total opposite, by focusing on a point I get cheesed off because I don't get there as quickly as I think I should, but if I let my mind wander, I'm there before I realise it. Psychology is a funny thing isn't it? Everyone is different! Good luck with the re...

Re: The graduate forum is so boring!

I agree on both points, the graduate forum is very quiet and I'd love another app with the same people.

Re: Missed runs due to vacation!

I missed 2 weeks of runs mid program due to illness and was able to pick up where I left off, a little slower maybe, but the stamina you've built will take longer than that to decay. If your in this for life, surely, a run or two here and there won't make too much difference. Although I have to admi...

Re: change start date?

Either select and skip runs, or start runs then select 'x' to stop them and mark them as complete, you won't be able to mark your correct start date but at least itll be right from now on.
