Re: Week 1 second run....another newbie.

Good luck with it all!
I tend to sprint a little more on my last run so I know I won't have to miss any!
Also read that if you get really tired you can pause the App, get your breath back before continuing.

Re: R2W1 coming up!

Wow - that was great! Felt a bit tired after the 3rd run though but quickly bounced back. Found the whole session a tiny bit harder than day one but that may be because of my cough and chest infection which seems to have subsided a little. But at the end of the cool down period I felt so good! Can't...

Starting again.........

Just did R1W1 again as had to stop program a couple of weeks back because of a chest infection. First time I did really struggle (and hated) but WOW .....it was so much easier this time! Chose a better, and nicer route (along the Thames), and turned on my music. The whole run was a pleasure and real...

Re: Any other bad asthmatics out there?

Heya, You're doing fantastically! As I said before, I also have asthma but not half as bad as you have but completing W1R3 is superb - and without your inhaler has to be a great sign! I've just done the first week and forgot my inhaler although I really felt I needed it for my first couple of runs i...

Re: Missed Run 2, Week 1 today! Start again?

Thanks Simon,
I found the first one really hard, and half way through I was going to walk home but I think I found it a bit easier towards the end - but not that easy!
Suppose it was only one run so I may as well carry on and do R2 Monday, and R3 on Weds to catch up.

Missed Run 2, Week 1 today! Start again?

I was unable to do my 2nd run in the program today (first was Weds) as I have my young son with me until Monday morning. Is it OK to take up where I left off on Monday morning, or should I start from Run 1 again? Saying that - I just had a short jogging race with him a few mins ago ( 100ft of so) an...

Re: First Day

Thanks guys, To....... yayifications & Not a runner-yet!.................... Feeling a little stiff today and guessing tomorrow I'll be worse. I felt the same way after my second run but I think it was a little better afterward - still hard though! I should have taken my inhaler too - although I...
