I too run monday Wednesday and Friday. On occasion I have moved my Friday run to a Saturday (my Fridays are very busy).
Happy running!

Re: calories?
I would suggest running a secondary app in the background to track distance and other stuff. I use mapmyrun and Nike+ (they each have some features I like so I use both, but you only need one)
My first workout was 141 calories, but that could vary with you based on speed and other factors.

Re: W1R1 failed - but not giving up!
I'm on week 4 run 2 today. The first run of the week has always been the hardest one for me. One thing you could do is during your regular walk try to pick the pace up a little bit and sustain it. Get running is meant to be used by someone who can walk at a fast pace for thirty minutes. There is a l...

Re: Complete beginner!! Needing some reassurance!!
I'm on week 4 run 2 today. I find that the first run of the week is the hardest, but by the end of the week I'm usually looking forward to the next week for a bit more of a challenge. This will all change next week when the whole week isn't the same workout! Just follow the program, don't go ahead i...
