Re: Just completed week 2 but...
Don't worry about speed at the moment. (I'm guessing your partner understands and is less worried about it than you are?) The C25K is about building the stamina you need to run continuously, not about speed; the speed can come later. Can you send your partner off to sprint ahead and then come back t...

Re: Week 1 day 1...couldn't finish
Sadly, I'm afraid we're somewhat at the mercy of phone manufacturers and music app writers on Android. We do everything we can to make music "ducking" work on Android, and it works on "stock" Android phones from Google, e.g. on the Nexus series of devices and many others. Sadly, ...

Re: Week 5 run 3
Yup, this is often a scary point in the C25K plan, but most people seem to make their way through it. Slow down a little from your shorter runs, if you can, and keep the pace steady, and you'll likely surprise yourself...

Re: I havent run for 1 week :(
I'd probably back off a touch. There's nothing wrong with doing that, and it'll be a lot easier to get back into it if your first run feels a little too easy rather than too hard. But trust your instincts, and let us know how you get on!

Ow. Tough break! You look after yourself, make sure you're well before you start back up again. And don't forget it's fine to drop back to earlier weeks in the plan when you hit an enforced break like this.
Get well soon!

The good news is that you can fit the increase from 5K to 10K in 12 weeks that way :) And are you stretching after your run? It can help with those sore legs... I started off my stret...
