Re: Oh hello Week 5 :)
Well done, and best of luck. Week 5 is not so bad - it really is a mental thing more than anything - you *know* you can do it!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Re: Week 7 run 3
Congratulations You're a couple of runs ahead of me (did week 7 run 1 this morning). Will seem a little sad to finish this programme, it really has been life changing for me. In the absence of anything from the wonderful get running folks I will likely move on to Bridge to 10K.

Good man
Just did Week 7 Run 1 this morning, 25 minutes for the 2nd time. Managed to cover 4km and was a little naughty in that I kept running after the 25 minutes was up for about another 3 minutes

Re: I can now call myself a runner
So that's run 3 done. 25 minutes non-stop. 3.5K covered. It was not easy that's for sure - it was hot and sweaty, but I got through it!

Re: 1st June, 1st run, 1st blog!
Oh my goodness. My friend has talked me into a half marathon in October! Looking forward to tomorrow's run. I'm glad I've got an online buddy too. :o Best of luck with that! I really wish I had the guts to sign up for something like that! I merely have 2 5Ks booked (one in July and one in October).

Re: Help!! Hubbie wants to update iPod Touch...
Back up the iPod touch first so you can restore it if necessary. I updated my iPhone last week and the data all remained, so I'd say you should be OK, but definitely back up first!

Re: I can now call myself a runner
I know :D I started running every other day rather than taking the 2 rest days at the end of a week - I found that I was longing to get back out there and start the next week so I reduced it to one rest day. There's no doubt the 25 minutes will be a challenge - I need to work out how to fit it into ...

Re: Should I start?
I was massively overweight before I started Get Running (I still am overweight, but 3 stone lighter!). As such I decided to spend an hour a day walking for the 3 weeks before I started week 1. I don't think I'd have managed week one before doing that, and it got my knees and joints used to sustained...
