W5R3

Post by andyd12003 »

Didn't think I would manage this, but I HAVE.

Felt hard after about 8 minutes, but once I got through that I felt it quite easy to carry on. Pace was quite slow, but hopefully that will increase with time.

Congrats. Mine is just over a week away and I am looking forward to the challenge. Even now I appreciate its psychological importance to me.

Well done!

I'm meant to have done mine today but completely flaked and ended up setting up my own W5R2.5 (ran for 10, walked for 5, ran for 6). Have only just found this forum, but a lot of people just saying to have a go at the 20 minutes straight off and hope for the best, so will try again on Wednesday. Just seems like a huge jump from two 8 minute runs to 20 at once!
