Ive just joined the forum as I started Get Running Last week.
I have just done Week 1 Run 3. I have been giving myself 2 days rest instead of 1 because i was tired after the first runs. i also think i may do week 1 again as I still struggled with my 3rd run although i do feel like i'm progressing slightly. I would also be very happy if I reach the 9th week if it takes me 18 weeks.
I started the programme to help lose weight and get fit as ive piled the stones on over the years and have unfortunately become a couch potato. Im 31, 6ft and weigh 17 stone 7,
I was a pro footballer when i was in my late teens, and was slim until my mid 20's, so this fact also makes me really want to lose the weight, as I now feel like a thin person in a fat persons body.
Anyway, i will try my best to stick to the plan and keep checking out the forums, cheers.
