Stitch

Hi There,

Although I've technically graduated, I thought this question might be more useful here. I have been suffering recently from a horrendous stitch and I don't know how to avoid it. Generally, I run through a stitch and it goes away in a few minutes but this one is really bad and I just can't continue. It feels as though I've been stabbed in my side. It always seems to happen when running downhill and although I'd like to just avoid the hill, it's the most convenient route and let's face it, I can't avoid hills forever. Any advice would be really helpful. Like I said, I can generally run through a stitch but it's not possible to continue when it's like this. Is it diet? Form? Pace?

Please help!
Laura Jane.
