Hi running team!
Just a quick question, how long will it be before I start noticing that i've lost weight?
I've currently just started week two so obviously haven't seen a change yet
Thanks!

Re: Losing weight
Depends on whether you are eating more as well as the running. Running is great exercise but if you end up eating more to compromise for the extra effort you'll probably not lose weight. You WILL get fitter. I started noticing the increased aerobic fitness around the middle of week 3. Also you'll likely build muscle and lose fat which won't necessarily translate as a loss on scales...
Re: Losing weight
I read somewhere that weight loss is 70% diet and 30% exercise. So basically you need to be in a calorie deficit to be losing weight.
I'm on a 1200 calorie diet and the only exercise I am doing is the get running programme. I've lost about 4kgs in a month so not too bad.
Good luck!
Oh and the myfitnesspal app is fabulous for recording your calories in and out.
