Just started

Post by Kim »

Hi,
My name is kim and today was my first day! It wasn't as hard as I imagined. It felt like a good workout and I'm very excited. I am 50 years old and hope I can keep this up with Gods help.
Thank you

Hi there, good on you for getting started!
I've started this week and have just finished my second session (week 1). I'm 45 yo and used to use my treadmill 3-5 times per week ( walk/ jog)until 3 years ago. Then I let life get in the way and completely stopped exercise ... Now carrying too many extra kilo's and very unfit.
Really like this app and finding the lady's voice very encouraging and empowering.
Because I'm unfit, I can't run at high speed on my treadmill yet, so only finished distance of 2.65km for this last run session.
Would love to be fit enough to do a fun run in early 2012 but feel a bit scared.
Next session in 2 days and that will be week 1 complete.
