Finished Week 7 on a high note. The key for me was slowing my pace down.I'm still experiencing some shin pain but it's tolerable and i'm hoping it will become less and less as i get stronger.

Have finished Week 7 but am continuing to repeat 25 minute runs until I have definitely got it before I move on to Week 8. Am going skiing for a week on Saturday and bit worried about lack of continuity - will try to find a gym in resort so I can at least do a couple of runs in the week. My partner did a half marathon yesterday and it was so amazing to watch 10,000 people getting the pleasure (and pain!) from their efforts - spurred me on to do more running and get better (cut 30 seconds off my one mile time today, so moving in the right direction).
