Finished first 5K run

Post by Sarah »

Just did a 5K run with Nike. Felt good and did it within the 30 minute time. Did have a week off due to Achilles heel strain. It was the best decision I made. No pain. Training for next Sunday run at sumner esplanade. Will post photos of event. :D

Today I did the 5k run with Sri Chinmoy Races. It was at the esplanade in sumner. I did it in 34:40 minutes. Felt great doing it. Next race will be on 22 September. I will do 10k.

Wow, fantastic stuff! I like the way you put it as a "healthy addiction", that's what everyone needs :-) Very well done.

I am due to run The Perkins Great Eastern Run in October and I am training for that. Hopefully I will get the time I want too!
