Cold runnings
Cold runnings
So I live in Canada and it's no longer good weather to go for a run in. There's ice and snow and temperatures of -24 degrees Celsius. What do I do when I don't have a treadmill or gym membership??
Re: Cold runnings
Wow, that's cold! If it's just too icy and snowy, maybe you could continue the plan on cross country skis?
Re: Cold runnings
That is so so cold!!! Brrrrr.....
Do other runners just hit the gym? Is there a running track that's kept clear you could use or is it just way too cold to even consider running outside?

Re: Cold runnings
GYM is a little bit boring, i recommend you to spend some money on
worm dryfit clouths (try at EBAY.com it more cheaper there).
there is nothing that can switch outdoor running no matter which weather.
good luck to you

Re: Cold runnings
Awesome thanks for the tips! I've been getting out there on the 'nicer' days when the snow has been cleared and so far it's good. I'm not into the gym much so this is working out just fine! And I've gotten up to run 1 of week 9!!! I'm pretty pumped! Bundling up with long sleeves, track jacket and a wind breaker with leggings under my sweatpants works just dandy!
