Hey Jaysonjaz :)

Thanks for the reply, I don't understand what tums are though :s

In the meanwhile to let everyone know I've been doing calorie specific workouts on a treadmill to try and up my stamina a bit so it will eventually make the running program a bit easier, I havn't been sweating buckets or panting like a dog but have instead taken it easy. Maybe this isnt such a good idea? I worked off 550 calories today according to my pedometre like gizmo, took just over an hour.

Ah, your 'pedometre' spelling clues me in that you're likely not in America like me :)
Tums are non-prescription tablets that you take for heart burn. They're a real simple and cheap medication (calcium carbonate) and I'm sure you have something similar to it wherever you're located! Ask your local pharmacist for help whenever you get a chance

Hi littlelegs,

I walked for a couple of weeks before running, and based on how I felt right after and the day after, I then made the step to begin w1r1. And my run is more of a very slow jog, not much faster than a speed walk. I hope this helps!
