I started at the same day as you and finished my second run too today. I feel pretty good about it and determined to keep going too. Good luck with your 3rd run coming Friday.

I have just finished my very first session. I feel really good and I didn't struggle and actually enjoyed it. I'm not running a fast pace at the moment but think it's probably better to start slow and build up than start too fast and then burn out!

Good luck to everyone.

Hi all... I have technically finished... I ran for 40 mins last week, tho I have never actually done wk9 d3 yet!!! Anyway I still run slow... I just want to build up time, distance and lose some weight before I'm worried about speed too much. It gets easier... And now what I find really amazing is that even when I'm out for a walk I often have the urge to run! This is the woman who played goal keeper in hockey so I could be putting pads on while the others had to warm up!!! It's great there's a group of you all started at the same time....;)

Congratulations all. It's the first step with many to come. But you've already completed the hardest step, which is to get started.

I am a few weeks ahead, looking forward to completing the program. All I can say is the running becomes easier. It's gets easier mentally. It gets easier physically.

Keep it up and congrats on putting the hardest steps behind you!

Hi all,

I have just done week 1 run 2 today. I really enjoyed it again but found that my legs were pretty tired when I did the first 1 minute. The remaining 7 were OK but the first was a bit hard. I have been quite surprised at how I'm not huffing and puffing as much as I thought that I would. On Monday I ran at 7km but today I upped it to 7.2km. I thought that I would up it 0.1 each week but that will still only mean that I'm running at 8km by the end. I think it would be pretty full on to get to 10km by the end. Is that what other people have found?

Cheers
