Just wanted some advice. I have only just started week 2, and today my knees are hurting very badly. I wonder if I should push through the pain, or take a break? Prior to begining running, I was walking 5k four times a week so I wasn't totally sedentary.

Hi there,
well done on getting started!
I started a similar thread 'knee pain help!' and got some advice from benjohn.
The gist of what helped me was going to a specialist running store and getting a gait analysis to choose the correct shoe. After two weeks with my new running shoes my pain had gone.
