Week 2
Ok just done my 1st run of week 2 . All went well , legs felt weak half way but after 20 years plus of no running that's to be expected . Took delivery of some new trainers as well which I must say felt much better than my old ones . my legs are recovering quicker after each run which is good and I'm having no problem with them aching now . Can't wait to go again on Monday and will prob try a slower pace until the legs feel stronger but at least I'm lasting the 1.5mins no problem which I'm pleased about more than anything . Will post again after run 2 Monday .

Re: Week 2
Run 2 completed , run itself was no problem just had a bit of trouble with my new trainers rubbing on one of my heels this was due to my sock slipping down , luckily it happened on the 6th run so it never got to bad just left a sore mark . Socks are now in the bin , I've plenty more lol . Looking forward to the next run on Wednesday .

Re: Week 2
Week 2 now completed after just getting in from the 3rd run . Today started as a struggle as my legs were just not with it in the 1st 2 runs (stiff , tired and aching knees) I'm putting this one down to doing my Run after finishing my nightshift which I was on my feet most of it , I know it's not ideal to run when I did bit I've alot on later so it was the only time I could do it today I still got there in the end . Legs got better as runs went on and I actually finished quite strongly , 2 says rest now so that's good and I move onto week 3 on Saturday , will post how it goes , good luck to all the runners and with each others help we will all be able to run non stop for 30mins
