Linda, I just wanted to see if I was able to run for 5 minutes. I had no idea what time I was able to run for. Because I was able to confirm that, I reminded myself that I can complete this run (b/c of my trial run). Week4 is/was not my friend. It was challenging for me. I wanted to quit a couple of times towards the end of the run. But, I knew I would be disappointed with myself if I did quit. I remember how terrified I was with running for 3 minutes. Now, thats under control and now I'm worrying about the five minutes. It is hard....but I know it will become easier. I wish I could tell you it is simple...but that is not the case. I am 27 and about 5'4ish. I was overweight about a year ago and I decided I didn't want to be unhealthy anymore. I was just uncomfortable with myself. I also have a horrible family history of heart attacks, strokes, heart disease, cancers, high bp, diabetes, and the list continues. At that time I weighed 162. I started watching my calories and used an app for that religiously. That helped me to lose weight (about 15lbs). Then I gained five back because of stress. So I decided I needed to do more, and that is when this program was referred to me. I really have not lost weight from it, but I feel that my clothes are fitting better. Tomorrow is my week4 day2. I know tomorrow is your day1 of week4...so please let me know how it goes! I wish you all the best luck with this. It will be a long road, but I know that you and I both will complete this program!!
