Hi I am Sarah, a 27 year old Texas teacher and rancher. I am terribly out of shape and have decided to get my rear in shape. It also saddens me when I get out of breath walking a half mile to and from our mailbox...

I started running to shift some weight when my diet stalled. I have 7ibs left to shift. No more has gone with running- but my shape is changing and I like it. I am just about to start week 5. So far so good- but this week looks like a huge step up. Hope I can do it.

Hello there,
Firstly thank you for this application. I just started week 4 and I have to say that it seems to be becoming part of my life right now.
I'm in St Neots in the UK but travel hugely with my work as a musician, so gym membership is troublesome.
I'm so grateful for the interaction with my iPod especially, as I'm not sure I could do this without music!
I'm slightly amazed I managed the 5 minute run yesterday, and have no idea where longer runs are going to come from, but have decided to keep an open mind!
Anyway hello and thank you.
One question, are you developing an application to take us further for after c25k?
All best,
Nick

Hi everyone,
My name is andres and I love the app, convinced my friend to get it also and we doing it together. I ran on and off but this app gives me the motivation to keep it going. On week 3 and pushing it.

Hello everyone,
I'm 20 years old and about 20 lbs away from where I'd like to be. I finished my first run tonight. I'm not terribly out of shape, so I started at week 3 run 1 and made it through ok. I tried pushing myself at the run sections (~8:30 pace) and definitely appreciated the motivation from the speaker in the last 3 minute section. I'm currently running on a treadmill in the gym in my college residence.
Running has never been fun for me, but after the first run, I'm hoping this app will help push me over that threshold where the body realizes it is becoming a runner. I joined twitter because I noticed a few other users mention it and I figured it'd be a cool way to also log the distances of each run and see the improvement. If you wanna look me up it's the same username. That's about it for now. Soon enough, I'll hopefully be posting on the graduate side of this forum having successfully complete the program!

Hi.
I am an unfit mum, in my forties and overweight. Went for run 1 last night with my husband and it went ok! I don't think I have ever run and didn't even think I could manage 1 minute never mind 8 but I did it!

Hello! Im Yliana from New York... Im a couch potato and need some motivation to get off the couch. I have always admired people who can run and jog through the park and look so content... They are flexing their lungs and making their way along the roads and streets with the energy to keep on moving! its inspiring ... I hope I can make it past the walking part!
My life has grown sedentary and its boring! Hopefully I can enjoy this and feel good doing it...
Good luck to everyone who is starting out, everyone has to start somewhere today is your day
cheers!
Yliana

Wotcha all. I'm Gary from Hornchurch Essex and just miraculously done my 1st session of week 1. Sweaty, aching, and worn out. Glad that's over till Saturday, although I want to get better and faster than a mate of mine that's about to run in the great northern run. Plus the fact I want to be able to keepnup with my kids haha
