Is anyone else running wearing a heart rate monitor? I've just been assessed at my gym and was recommended to exercise using this to ensure I didn't put too much stress on my heart.
I just completed my first run on Saturday but I exceeded my upper limit bpm ; so I had to stop running until my heart rate came down.
Anyone else had this?
But, on a positive note... I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to run two tonight

Re: Heart monitor
I use a hrm, I set it for my 'fat burning' zone, but I find that I shoot straight through this when I'm running. I use it just to ensure I'm not over stressing my heart and then I guess, after the program is over, I can concentrate on increasing fitness to keep in the zone.
