Heel injury advise needed

Hello all,
When I first started the programme I was wearing the wrong shoes and I was in quite a bit of discomfort, to the point that I looked stupid walking down the stairs, it was mainly in the Achilles tendon area in the heel. So after a bit of research I took a week off and picked back up again at week 2
I just about hit week 3 although I was struggling, I then walked a friends dog and forgot my walking boots and the pain came back I'm not wholey convinced it had gone away.
I've been resting it for just over a week now although have been swimming quite a lot. I think I should probably wait until next Monday as today is the first day I haven't felt an ache in the heel when getting up. I'm really wanting to get going again.
So two questions should I get going straight away or wait until Monday and which week should I do, should I start again completely or try week 3 or split the difference and do week 2 which I was ok at before.
Many thanks
