Hi Eema2
Went extremely well, I just took it easy and my legs were a bit stiff the next morning, but I did stretch after my run so I think the legs could have been a lot worse.
Good luck on the first run though, as they say the run's all start with the first step
Cheers and let me know how it went.

Second run now done, weird thing though the minute and a half walks seemed to take less time in my mind than the runs, but I feel brilliant this morning, no pain at all, the stretching and cooling down 5 minutes are key.
Do the cool down, after talking to a cyclist chum, she explained that the cool down releases the lactates.
Cheer

Time passes differently when you run vs when you walk. Five minutes running just DRAAAAGS, where five minutes walking seems to pass in a blink. I Ike to joke that I ran so fast I broke time.

I did it, I did my first run and I loved it, I brought my dog along that way I can't have the excuse of not be able to run when its dark

He'll keep me safe and he keeps me going, he gives me something to focus on while I run.
It was harder then I thought it was going to be but not enough that I didn't think I could do it. I felt great after and I still do. However I feel very wired right now and its late I should be going to bed. I'm thinking of maybe running at work during lunch, has anyone tried that? I see so many people jogging.
I'm glad I found this app. Lets hope it brings me success.

I finished the first week on Thursday, so now I'm thinking about week 2.
I'm supposed to leave the 2nd week until tomorrow, but I'm going to do the run today. Purely because myself, my wife and children are going out tomorrow.
Will I suffer for this sudden bought of enthusiasm? I'll let you all know tomorrow morning
Good luck to all that are getting into this running lark.

So,it's Monday an I've just finished the 2nd run of week 2, I weighed myself before my first run and weighed in at 201.2 pounds, granted I was wearing running gear, but before my 1st run of second week I weighed in at 196 pounds, again grantec this time ai'd just climbed out of bed so I was extremelly lightly dressed.
Good luck all, and make sure you cool down and stretch.
Cheers
