I just completed W1R3! I have never been a runner, didn't even know if I could run, but really want to succeed with this program. I have to use the word "run" loosely, because it's a very slow pace, but I am so excited to have made it through week one
I started by shopping at a specialty store for the right shoes, but wonder if I should also invest in inserts?? My shins really feel bruised, but not so much they are always sore. I only notice when I'm running again. Is this something I will work through as I progress, am I doing something wrong, or should I head back to the running shop? Any advice is welcome!
