Anyone know or suggest a good pair of running shoes?

Best thing is to go to a specialist running shop. I got mine at a place where I had to run on a machine in the shop and they took a video to look at gait. I'd never been on a machine before and felt really daft!! The shoes have made a stunning difference to how I feel when running and lega feel better after too. Very well worth the money!

About £70. Fabulous fit. Never heard of make before, it's mizuno. I think having a specialist fit them is the important.
Good luck.

Hey, I can vouch for Mizuno running shoes too. Mine cost around £75 but were well worth it (and hell I wouldn't pay £75 for normal shoes!!) I hadn't heard of them before either but tried on asics and Nike shoes too and the Mizunos were far comfier from the off. I've always had problems with my knees when running in the past but not a thing since getting these shoes. They - along with the get running programme - have got me running 5k in 9 weeks. I've always given up in the past. A worthwhile investment.

Ps I also went to a specialist running shop and had a gait analysis done. Also well worth it. :)
