Lack of aching post run

Is anyone else having this issue, ( although I'm not complaining) just wondering!
I am currently running 25mins in one go and have to admit to not stretching pre run or post run, but I can honestly say I have not ached at all since starting w1r1. A friend suggests that I'm not pushing myself enough but I think I am. I am several stone overweight, struggling to run for the allotted 1min at the start as a really couch potatoe, by the end of my runs I am chuffing for breath,( many previous years of smoking added to this) and legs feel like lead, as if I can hardly pick them up. Granted I'm not the fasted runner but it has continued to freak me out that I don't ache like hell the day after my runs!
Might just be down to a fab programme that get running is but would like to hear off others to see if it's the same with them
