Every other week, I take my three year old son with me on runs because there's no one to watch him while I'm out. So he's exposed to my running pretty regularly (I've done Get Running twice, and have been running since he was about six months old).
Today he asked me repeatedly if he could get out of the stroller and "find his exercise," so for the last five minutes, I let him out to run with me. And he did. For the whole five minutes. Up a hill. Just because he wanted to.
I think he found his exercise and chased it down like a lion!
Thought that my thoughts in and about nature were plenty to keep me going. However last evening I ran to the Be Good Tanya's and what a difference this upbeat music made. I seemed to run faster and the runs seemed shorter somehow. I felt very happy and proud to finish my run!
I love this programme and am very happy to use it.
“Suddenly, I was part of something. I was part of the running community. The more open I was about my running, the more open others were about theirs. I found out that runners love to talk about running.”
