Some advice needed

Hi everybody ^_^

So I have been lurking around here since I started the program an finally decided to post!
I will be doing my w5r2 tomorrow and as the runs get longer my dilemma grows...
I get so bored running on the treadmill especially since my apartment complex is in the process of (hopefully) upgrading the cardioTV thingies, I feel there is nothing to do but watch the clock which is agonizing. Not to mention the constant beep beep beep to adjust my pace.

However runnin outside kills me, it is just soo hot coupled with the 90%+ humidity is too much. My schedule is crazy so I'm at school 5pm-1am so early morning runs are out and by the time I get back it's jut not safe to run.

It's such a shame because there's a lovely 2.5 mile path around a lake right out my front door. If anybody else out there has found a way to deal with the heat or fight the boredom on the treadmill I would love some advice!

Cheers and thanks for reading

That's a real dilemma. I generally listen to audiobooks while walking, cycling and sewing. I am just beginning to run, but maybe audiobooks on the iPod or iPhone you are using would help? Or music, if you prefer. I just like audiobooks because I get caught up in the story.
Anyway, good luck!
