Week 7 and......

For probably the first time in my life, I don't hate running! I'm 42, played sports all through college and beyond, and came to the realization that I don't think I've ever run 25 minutes straight before now! Excited to get to 30+ minutes and my first 5k in November! Hopefully drop a few pounds on the way! Keep it up everyone!

Awesome news Chris. Well done mate, i too am at this position have just finished my second run of week 7. Am currently debating whether or not too enter a 5k race. Is it best to enter once you have run 5k or enter now and use it as a target to run to?

Not really sure, to be honest. I think I'm going to wait until the end of week 9 before scheduling anything.

My goal was to get to 3x30 minutes every week, and my pace isn't the greatest, so I think I'm going to wait.
