Hi all,
Just finished my 1st week with get running. Have to say, was shocked that the stuck to it given my history with starting exercise programes, especially in the beautiful Irish weather at this time of year.
Other than some sore knees and the odd 'what am i doing?', the app is excellence and i found myself wanting to please the nice lady on the end of the headphones and keep on going.
Anyway, I digress, I was wondering if any one could advise as to what distance would be a good benchmark to be tracking to? I seem to have an average of 4.5km for the week one runs (the joys of a GPS app working with the running one),but am unsure if this is good, bad or indifferent.
Any suggestions?

good distance?
Re: good distance?

I try to emphasis to people that they should run what ever they find there body wants to run and not compare themselves with others.
But – that's a jolly good distance for the first week

Happy running!
