Any tips please?

I've just completed week 4, run 1 and I'm loving this app. My problem is on the 5 min run I've found my legs are really heavy and feel like they can't go on even though the rest of me feels great. Would doing weights or maybe a rowing machine build up some strength?

I'm about 25lbs overweight and apart from swimming this is the first proper exercise I've done in 10 years.

This is very normal as you get fitter and goes away very quickly. Make sure you are taking the two rest days and giving your muscles time to recover.
