Sore knees

Hello all

I am new to this site and to running also.

I have done run one and two of week one. I got halfway through run three today and had to stop as I was in agony (and a little hungover too). I will try again tomorrow.

My problem is that my knees (and hips to a lesser extent) are killing me. I have very good new running shoes and i always stretch before and after my runs but my knees still kill. I am at the point where I may have to give up as I basically cannot walk up and down stairs at the moment.

Does anyone have any advice? I really would like to stick with the program but I am worried I will injure myself badly.
