Can't believe how quickly this has gone by. Really enjoying this running lark. Yesterday I set out on my first 28min run and half way around I was feeling so good I took a longer route and managed to keep running past 28mins and lasted until 33mins.
With the 5min warm up and cool down I ran 6.5kms. Amazing that just 8wks ago I was gasping after 1min of running.
Can't thank the authors of the app enough for providing the incentive for me to get this far.

Hi Darren,
I'm at the same stage as you: I have wk 8, run 2 coming up in the morning! I love this app and am still constantly amazed that I can actually run for this long. I'm not sure how far I run but I'm going to try and use Runkeeper alongside the app tomorrow.
Good luck for the remainder of the programme! What are you going to do to continue your running when you have completed it?

Runkeeper is great to run alongside as it gives you a useful record both of your run distance but also your times and pace. It also gives you a backslap as you break new personal records for distance and pace which is a nice boost.
I ran Week 8 Run 2 today and carried on running past the 28min mark until I got home. It was about 37mins of running in total plus the 5min warm up which equated to 6.2km.
Never thought I'd like running but I love it and the best thing is I am finally beginning to feel like I can speed up a little bit.
Once I finish I'm going to work on improving my pace until I'm running 8min miles (I'm 10mins at the moment.). If I ever get there I'll enter a 5k fun run or join one of the local 5k weekly runs.
