Week 4

Just completed 1st run of week 4 , and pleased to say I breezed through it , really chuffed considering the pain my knees were in just over a week ago . This was the best run I've had since starting the programme , slight leg stiffness but nothing to bother me , the 5 min runs didn't even seem that long as I was finally just enjoying the run and not worrying about any aches and pains , hope this is a turning point for me can't wait to get to week 5 run 3 as I reckon I could have easily done 20 mins today with how I felt . Just shows not to get to down on yourself like I was last week it will come good I think I'm really benefiting from taking that week off for my injury , hope run 2 goes just as well !!!! Thanks for all the kind words during my injury it really kept my spirits up THANKYOU

Carl

Bravo Carl! So good to see you're on the run again. The 20 minute run was my favorite just because of coach Clair's message at the end. I also wanted to forge ahead to 20 min., but was glad that I'd waited.

Just finished run 2 of week 4 and all is going well , still no probs with my knees so I'm hoping I've put that injury behind me now , being pain free means for the 1st time I can actually start pushing myself . I chose a more hilly route today which was quite tough but very rewarding at the end of it , run 3 to come on Wednesday then onto week 5 from Saturday .
